Where have you travelled?
So far we have travelled to 34 countries and have loved every single one of them, there are so many more that we can’t wait to explore!

What was the first country you travelled to?
Ever since I was little my family travelled within Australia and we would go to the Gold Coast and Port Macquarie for school holidays which was always so much fun. My very first overseas holiday was with my mum, dad and sister to Bali, Indonesia on 19 September 1990 where we boarded flight GA 899 to Denpasar, I have loved travelling ever since!
The first overseas country Aron visited was England where he also visited many other European countries at the same time.
The very first holiday we went on together was Hayman Island – absolutely stunning!
What is your favourite country?
We live in a country which has perfect weather and beautiful beaches like Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays, so this will always be our absolute favourite but we also adore Italy for its food, culture, people and the picture-perfect town that sits on Lake Como – Tremezzo!
Do you travel full time?
I wish! This is my ultimate goal which I’m working towards. My very first job was in travel, however, I now work full time out of the travel industry as a team manager looking after 15 amazingly hilarious people who make me laugh every day. Every minute I’m not at work I spend researching destinations both locally and overseas that I can enjoy as a mini-break, a day trip or as an overseas adventure.
Who do you travel with?
Arona and I travel everywhere together. Luckily for me Aron also loves to travel. We really have so much fun together experiencing new places, new cultures and new cuisines. We both love travelling so much that it was no surprise to our families when we told them in 2009 that they were all invited to our wedding overseas in Bali.
Who takes all of your pictures?
Both Aron and I take all of the pics for our blog and social media platforms. We currently use a Canon d550 DSLR, iPhone Xs and Go-Pro Hero. We are certainly not professional photographers but we enjoy taking pics so we can reminisce about where we have been and also show others what is out there waiting for them.
What made you start this blog?
I started this blog to help excite and inspire people about exploring the world and to give them an idea of where to stay, what to eat and what they need to see while they are there. I have always written travel diaries and said one-day I’m going to put this all in a blog. So here it is!
can I start a blog?
Yes absolutely! This is something anyone can do for a little bit of fun on the side or potentially a full-time career. What you need is a vision, dedication and just love what you’re blogging about. My advice is don’t stop putting it off or making excuses, just bite the bullet and get started now! It’s fun, exciting and very rewarding.
