World Travel Trick Number 4: Travel Blogger Inspo
Some of our best travel inspo comes from our fellow travel bloggers. Not only are bloggers travel experts that have travelled to some of the most amazing places on earth but chances are they have also researched the daylights out of each place.
Lucky for you, this means that they have done a lot of leg work! They have sorted out what destinations are hot at what time of year, where the best hotels are located, what sites are really worth seeing and have answers to the most important question of all time… where is the best place to eat?
With isolation starting to lift, now is the perfect time to start planning your next big holiday, this way you’ll be ready to go once the airports open! Check out some of my favourite travel bloggers (who also inspired me to start Giddy Guest – so thanks for that!) for some post iso vac-cay inspo – fook that’s a mouth full:
World of Wanderlust
This is the first travel blog I ever fell in love with. Not only for the fact that Brooke is a fellow Aussie sharing her travel stories from all around the world but also because she has opened a dessert bar, a bridal dress boutique, published a book, created a range of totes, released a new t-shirt range smack bang in the middle of the pandemic and started a podcast called Read like a girl!
Sweet Jesus and that’s not where it ends she is also now starting to write another book, has her own book club plus continues her blog which focuses on inspiring women to travel and she isn’t even 30!

Young Adventuress
Fun, authentic, opinionated, and a little bit witty is how I would describe Liz from the Young adventuress.
Liz is an American who moved to Spain, quit her job, started a travel blog, moved to New Zealand (maybe not in that order) and also co-founded The Travel Boot Camp with Lauren Bath and Georgia Rickard. On her blog you will find incredible pictures and stories from Liz’s around-the-world travels which will make you want to get out and starting seeing the world.

The Blonde Abroad
Now, this girl has it all going on, Kiersten, more commonly known as Kiki, is the go-to blogger for female travellers all around the world. I fell in love with this blog when I read that Kiki left her corporate job to travel the world – that is exactly what I want to do!
Since making that life-altering decision The Blonde Abroad has visited over 70 countries and runs TBA Escapes which offers luxury tours to incredible destinations just for females!
I started following the Blonde Abroad not only because she has a great travel resource section on her blog that focuses on both travellers and bloggers but mostly because her purpose is to inspire women to travel the world.

Becky Exploring
The reason I enjoy reading this blog is that Becky has a great sense of humour and is all about sharing her own travel experiences to help inspire others to travel. She has lived in four different countries, is a self-confessed craft beer lover and can’t read a map (me too! – I know there are more of us out there!)
Becky has a heap of hiking, craft beer and travel guides that will help you start planning your next trip.

Giddy Guest
I’m Melissa a fun-loving Aussie that believes Food and Travel go hand in hand so much so that every holiday I plan is based not only on what to see but also where to eat great food and drink wine! I am a luxury accommodation, dumpling and G&T fanatic who simply wants people to get excited about not only traveling the world but also eating it – yum!
On top of all of that I work fulltime for a large corporate as a team manager, absolutely love living in Australia and just can’t shake that crazy giddy feeling you get when traveling to new places and eating delicious food.
Like they say if you don’t toot your own horn no one else will – so toot toot!
