As you enter Lotus you are instantly greeted with a warm authentic yet modern Chinese dumpling bar feel. The open kitchen adds character with pork buns and dumplings steaming in bamboo baskets and the seriously delicious smell of Shandong chicken sauce cooking away in the background …yum!
To soak up the atmosphere sit at the bar and sip on cocktails, a glass of wine, or a Moo Brew while you watch the chefs meticulously fold and steam dumplings while tossing wok-fried prawns to perfection!
Lotus Dumpling Bar is great for lunch or dinner. It is located right near the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Walsh Bay and is a great spot to stop at before watching a show. Lotus is reasonably priced, has some of the best dumplings in Sydney, and is a small venue so don’t forget to book ahead – enjoy!
