If you are like me and are a total Neighbours fan who religiously watches the show every weeknight at 6.30 pm then you will be excited to know that during my visit to Melbourne I completed the Official Neighbours Tour!
The Neighbours Tour
The Neighbours Tour starts at the Neighbours Tour headquarters where you will board a bus and be whisked away to RAMSAY Street! As you travel to the famous TV location your guide will get you excited about what you are about to experience. Your guide will share the latest Neighbours goss, tricks of the filming trade and wait for it… insider information! I can guarantee that the inside info we got was true, it happened!
Your first stop will be at RAMSAY STREET! Here you will see the actual houses that your Neighbours favourites live in. You will be going from house to house saying oh there’s the Kennedy’s house, there is where Toadie played cricket in the street and remember when Paul Robinson lived there!
There is plenty of time to take pictures. Of course, you have to take a happy snap with the famous Ramsay Street sign! Ramsay Street is a real residential street in Melbourne. Your guide will ensure that you know all of the do’s and don’ts before you hop off the bus.
From there you will take a short drive to the studio. Here you can see all of the iconic sets like Harold’s Café, The Waterhole, Lassiter’s, Grease Monkeys, Erinsborough High School steps and the Police Station, unfortunately, there was no sign of Mark Brennan that day.
After spending time backstage taking photos and signing the Neighbours wall you will start your journey back to Melbourne. On the way back you watch a Neighbour’s episode and remain star struck from all that you have seen.

The Neighbours tour departs on Saturdays and lasts for approx. 3 hours. When filming is taking place there can be some restrictions when visiting Ramsay Street or the studio. Enjoy the tour…how exciting!
